Engineer by training. Sales in the field. Operator every day.
I'm Quentin Andrieux. For the past 3 years I've been a freelance GTM Engineer: I help B2B SMBs and scale-ups build their commercial machines. Clean CRM, signal-driven outbound, AI workflows plugged into real processes.
Three professional lives brought me here, and it's the combination that makes the difference day to day:
- Engineer by training: I think in systems. A sales process can be designed, measured and repaired.
- Sales in the field: BDR, then Account Executive. I know what a lying pipeline and a hated CRM feel like.
- Entrepreneur's mindset: I ran a marketing agency before going solo. I think in profitability, not features.
"Fewer tools, better orchestrated."
It's my only non-negotiable rule. An impressive but poorly used stack always loses to three well-connected tools. My job is to build the GTM foundations first, and automate second. Never the other way around.
The operator, not the consultant
The thing that sets me apart most isn't on my resume: I run my own business with Claude Code and AI. Prospecting, CRM, research, invoicing, content: my own machine runs every day, and I document all of it publicly on LinkedIn.
That's not a detail. When a consultant recommends AI, they take a risk on your back. When I plug a workflow into your business, it has already been running in mine. That's the difference between recommending and operating, and it's how the mention in the Top 10 GTM Engineers France (ProntoHQ ranking) came about.
The path
- EducationEngineering school. Rigor, systems thinking, a taste for things that work.
- Field salesBDR then Account Executive in B2B. The field, the objections, the end-of-quarter sprints.
- EntrepreneurshipRunning a marketing agency: business vision, a sense of profitability, marketing-director clients.
- 2023 · FreelanceStarted as a freelance GTM Engineer. 25+ SMBs supported since, €1M+ pipeline generated for my clients.
- TodayBetween Paris and Bulgaria. Missions in structured remote, on-site workshops, and a personal business that runs on AI, documented in public.
How I work
In monthly sprints with a single goal per sprint, always starting with the quick wins. You work directly with me, not through a project manager, and I plug into your team: your tools, your rituals, on site when it matters.
And I start from the principle that I should become useless: handover is part of the method. Documentation, training, workshops. Your team keeps the keys when the mission ends.
Where to start: 30 minutes on what you cannot see.
Describe your stack or your AI need by email. Within 7 days: a numbers-based diagnosis and a ROI-ranked action list. No strings attached.
